Ana Mantezi (São Paulo, 1985) graduated in Photography from the Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design in São Paulo in 2018. She participates in the Advanced Photography Studies course with Eder Chiodetto and Fabiana Bruno, as well as a study group in authorial photography with Sylvia Sanchez.
Ana investigates the landscape and the memories and sensations that arise from it. It uses expanded photography and alternative printing methods to create scenarios based on affections, displacements and the game with different temporalities and spatialities.
He works with the invention of an experience of place, being more interested in what cannot be seen – either because it does not actually physically exist, or because it is a subjective inflection.
