(Mato Grosso, Brazil, 1979) lives and works between Brazil and France. Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Arts of Paraná in Curitiba and Master of Visual Arts from Nihon University in Tokyo, Japan, where he lived for almost ten years.
Operating within the limits of the practice of drawing and calligraphic writing, his poetics explore spaces: in the blanks of the sheet of paper, in the exhibition space or in the exchanges between creator and spectator, in collective creation projects. Among his solo exhibitions, the following stand out: “Jardim”, at the Funarte gallery in São Paulo, “Project N47”, at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, in Japan, and “Mémorias Insulares”, at Sesc Ipiranga. He also participated in the Aichi Triennale 2010 and the Echigo – Tsumari Art Triennale 2012 in Japan. He also won the Exhibition of Artists Abroad awards (Fundação Bienal de São Paulo) and the Production Grant in Visual Arts 2011 (Fundação Nomura, Japan).
